Biloxi Planning Commission Approves
Plan for Gold Coast Casino
RW Development spokesperson Reed Guice announced their latest project the Gold Coast Casino Resort. RW representatives went before the Biloxi Planning Commission to request a series of zoning changes needed to move the project forward.
"This is an area where a casino should be," Guice said. "The city fathers wanted a casino there in the first place in 1993.", said Reed Guiice
After much support and little opposition was voiced, the planning commission overwhelming approved the project. The project still needs the approval of the city and the state.
"We hope the city fathers will agree. And when we go to Jackson, that the gaming commission, I know, will give us a fair hearing, and we look forward to what they have to say," Guice said. "To think that that area can be the strip again is pretty exciting."
